QuickPort is a lightweight iOS terminal client that connects to local devices over WebSocket
(for example at 192.168.7.1) on your network.

If you need help, include:
- Device model + iOS version

- Screenshots or logs (if you’re comfortable sharing)
Quick fixes
- Local Network permission: iOS may block discovery unless you allow it. Go to Settings → QuickPort → Local Network and enable it.
- Check the address: confirm the target is reachable (same Wi-Fi / USB-Ethernet), and that the WebSocket endpoint/port is correct.
- Firewall/VPN: VPNs and strict firewalls can block local traffic. Disable temporarily to test.
- Device is up: reboot the target device and try again.
FAQ
Does QuickPort send my terminal data to the cloud?
No. Data is exchanged only between your iOS device and the local device you connect to.
What protocols are supported?
WebSocket to your local device/server.
I can’t connect to 192.168.7.1.
Make sure your iPhone is actually on that network interface (USB-Ethernet accessory or correct Wi-Fi),
and that the target device is serving WebSocket on the expected port/path.
